Migration to an Office 365 environment
A 5,000-strong worldwide industrial group was seeking to undergo a digital transformation and migration to Office 365.
BACKGROUND
The group IT department wanted to assess the suitability of collaborative tools to user requirements. CNS was approached to assess the situation and propose a transformation plan.
APPROACH
The project started with an audit to understand uses associated with the collaborative tools available to users. The aim was also to understand how communications were carried out within the company.
Subsequently, we proposed that the group rationalise its tools and focus on adopting a collaborative approach structured around a single tool. This enabled users to become familiar with new uses by changing their way of working.
CNS handled the whole process to migrate the group to Microsoft Teams and its email infrastructure to Office 365. CNS consultants supported the group from designing the architecture through to handling the migration.
RESULTS
In 18 months, CNS supported the group through its digital transformation and enabled employees to fully embrace the new collaborative work tools.
